ABOUT

Dave Specter's Blues from the Inside Out

ABOUT DAVE SPECTER:

Dave has been performing on the Chicago blues scene for over 30 years and appears on over 40 albums and as a guitarist, recording artist and producer. Dave was inducted into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame in 2018.

He has performed, toured and taught internationally and hosted a series of online video interviews with musicians such as Jimmie Vaughan, Warren Haynes, Hubert Sumlin, John Hammond and Otis Clay.

Dave’s own roots in blues, soul, r&b and jazz run deep, and his appreciation of the history of the blues led him to create the Blues from the Inside Out podcast. Not only has Dave known and performed with many of these artists over the years, he believes that creating archival, living histories of their incredible lives and music is both culturally significant, and a well-deserved honor for artists who have devoted themselves to their craft.

The Chicago Sun Times calls Dave Specter "A global ambassador of Chicago Blues".
